ROI·DNA and cleverbridge in the Windy City

October 3, 2014
Chicago

Creative Director Ryan Scheiber and CEO Matt Quirie had a chance to visit the good folks of cleverbridge last week, working with their team in the River North district of Chicago. We asked Ryan a few questions about the trip:

What’d you do for fun?

  • Monday night we all walked from the office down to the Chicago River and rented a boat.  After that we went out to a bar and watched the Bears beat the Jets. And I’ve been instructed by my lawyer not to tell you what happened after that.

I heard you guys got a bit wet…

  • Yeah, while we were cruising the river, we got soaked by this giant water cannon. We had no idea what was going on, but it turns out it’s the Centennial Fountain – it goes off every hour, on the hour. So, some awesome timing there.

Drink list?

  • Beer, rum. I had something called the Grass Tiger from a restaurant downtown called Sunda. It’s probably the best drink I’ve ever had – jalapeno-infused gin, with mint. It had jalapenos and lime slices in it.
